"Let us race," said the tortoise
calmly. Animals gathered as the start whistle blew.
Hare sprinted — whoosh! — then decided to nap under a tree, snoring loudly.
Tortoise kept plodding — plod, plod, plod — and passed the sleeping hare to win.
